Wastewater Pipeline Installation Across Farmland

Mole Group Utilities was appointed to assist with the installation of approximately 100 metres of 250mm OD MDPE pipe as part of a wastewater network upgrade. The project involved installing the new pipeline beneath agricultural land and an existing watercourse, presenting a number of environmental and engineering challenges.

To minimise disruption to the surrounding farmland and avoid disturbing the watercourse, our experienced team utilised Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) techniques to complete the installation safely and efficiently. This trenchless approach allowed the new pipeline to be installed with minimal impact on the environment while maintaining the integrity of the existing landscape.

Working closely with the client and other contractors on site, Mole Group Utilities successfully completed the installation on time, within budget, and to the required specification. The smooth delivery of the project ensured that the wider wastewater upgrade programme remained on schedule while providing the client with a high-quality, reliable installation.

This project marked our first opportunity to work with this client, and we were delighted to demonstrate the professionalism, flexibility, and expertise that Mole Group Utilities brings to every project. Whether it's a small section of work or a large-scale utility installation, our team is always ready to roll up their sleeves, collaborate with others, and deliver outstanding results.
